CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Your travel has been booked with service suppliers in co-operation with Real Aussie Adventures Pty Ltd. (ACN 158 549 332), trading as the Real Adventure Group. Real Aussie Adventures uses the travel consolidator Website Travel (ABN 37 108 914 594) to handle all funds on behalf of customers. Website Travel is a travel consolidator that holds all funds in trust and only pays suppliers for services after clients have traveled, hence guaranteeing any payments made.
BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Open dated tickets: You must book your travel dates in advance with the individual Service Provider as per details provided on your voucher. As a general advice, we recommend 7-10 days in advance.
Tickets with booked dates: It is your responsibility to ensure you redeem your tickets on the dates booked. If you wish to change these dates please refer to your booking agent.
Bookings must be reconfirmed with the operator directly at least 48 hours prior to travel (the contact details are provided on each voucher). Please do not contact Real Aussie & Kiwi Adventures directly.
Cancellation of a booking or part thereof will incur the fees listed below as well as a 1% administration fee. Credit Card fees are also non-refundable. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.
• 30 - 60 Days 20% of Fare
• 14 days – 29 days 50% of Fare
• Within 14 days 100% of Fare
Cancellations should be made with your booking agent as additionally, their cancellation fees may differ to the above.
Please note any airfare components and credit card fees are non-refundable.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our operators reserve the right to alter the route or itinerary of any of its tours and activities and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. Sometimes roads or activities will be closed due to seasonality, extreme heat or rainfall and is beyond the control of operators. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of 4 passengers are required to operate. It may be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour if minimum numbers are not met. Real Aussie Adventures are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services or any associated costs resulting from such delays. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage and cannot be responsible for children whilst on tour. Parents are entirely responsible for their children whilst all care will be taken. Components of tours are subject to Cultural conditions. Participants may be absent due to cultural commitments with minimal prior notification and Real Aussie Adventures reserves the right to amend the itinerary in these circumstances with no obligation to refund. Components of trips are dependent on many external factors and Real Aussie Adventures cannot be held liable if trip components are not available on the day of travel.
Please refer to each individual tour/package to establish which meals are included. Meals are indicated as: B = Breakfast, L = Lunch and D = Dinner.
Most tours require a certain level of participation. This may include assisting and cleaning afterward with the preparation of meals, collecting firewood and sweeping out tents.
All Real Aussie and Kiwi Adventures products require a moderate level of fitness. As a general rule, pax need to be fit enough to walk an average of 6 kilometers a day, though not all tours will require this amount of walking. If you are concerned about your client's suitability to a tour, please contact us and we can provide more information regarding the physical demands of that particular product and often recommend a more appropriate product if your first choice is not suitable.

Luggage should be restricted to 15 kg per person in a soft bag or backpack (except for tours starting and finishing in the same Northern Territory location where a 10kg limit applies) with a small day pack for easy access to a camera, sunblock etc. Those starting and finishing in a different location can request 20kg at the time of booking with a soft bag.
Itineraries are correct at time of publication and may differ slightly to the one displayed in the brochure/website. Occasionally itineraries change as operators make improvements based on comments from past travelers. Additionally, National parks alter their policies so that certain walks are no longer available for safety reasons. If we are unable to utilize a product, service or activity detailed, a suitable alternative will be offered where possible.
Please request child rates at the time of booking as many of our operators provide a child policy.
FEES AND LEVIES
Any additional fees/levies are noted within each itinerary. Credit card payments attract a 1.5-2.0% surcharge.
Our suppliers make every effort to safeguard clients, and we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness to any customer which is beyond our control. Passengers should note that adventure travel involves a higher than normal risk and a signed release may be required from all participants from a number of our activity providers. Real Aussie and Kiwi Adventures works with the best operators available but takes no responsibility for any act of neglect by any operator whose services are used as part of your trip.
Travel Insurance is NOT included. We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travelers take out travel insurance. It is the client's personal responsibility to purchase their own travel insurance to cover any liability which may be incurred to us or our service providers. We strongly recommend that clients source travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on either the confirmed departure date or a connecting service at the end of a tour. Our operators often work in remote locations and meeting flights or other transport arrangements after tour cannot be guaranteed. Travel insurance recommended with a low excess payment, to make claims on canceled tours worthwhile. Travel Insurance is compulsory when traveling in Asia on our programs.
SMOKING & DRINKING
Government regulations prohibit smoking and the drinking of alcohol inside tourist vehicles (smoking and drinking should be limited to stops along the route).
Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST for Australian and Fijian product, New Zealand Dollars inclusive of GST for New Zealand product and US Dollars for our Asian products, and are valid for travel until 31st March 2018
Part Payments and Deposits
We can take a deposit for your tour here at Real Aussie Adventures. You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 10% per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed. The remaining amount can be paid in installments. All payments must be made at least 60 days prior to your first travel date commencing. If your booking is made within 60 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Please note by paying a deposit you fix the price for your tour or activity, as long as you don’t make any further changes including change of date and/or accommodation amendments. Should you wish to change the date of your booking a change fee will not apply provided it is changed 30 days or more from departure. Further dates changes will be charged at $50 per change and may be subject to pricing fluctuations depending on your new date of travel.
