Our mission is to get you off the beaten track around New Zealand amongst authentic local culture and our experienced crew has chosen some incredible destinations so you can see more and do more! Travel to the places you're less likely to find in the guide book but the ones you'll be talking about long after the adventure has ended.
Lake Aniwhenua is in the North Island of New Zealand
Lake Aniwhenua is off the beaten track for most travellers. You wouldn't, probably, go there if you weren't on a tour. It's a little secret off the road between Rotorua and Taupo.
You will stay overnight at a lodge overlooking Lake Aniwhenua. The lodge is operated by a local Maori family. You will be welcomed traditionally to stay here and have the opportunity to experience some Maori cultural activities like flax weaving, eeling and traditional Maori cookery. You can also just soak up the tranquil surroundings.
This tour starts in Christchurch and finishes in Christchurch and allows you to see the highlights New Zealand has to offer including Rotorua maori culture, Abel Tasman National Park, Doubtful Sound, Kaikoura, Queenstown and much, much more. You'll be able to conquer your fair share of the New Zealand terrain. Hike the volcanic craters of middle earth and traverse icy glaciers as you take in all the highlights of the North Island and South Islands.
